Home repairs & improvements

I recently hired Jeshua's to handle several repairs and improvements around my home and I couldn’t be more impressed. From start to finish the experience was seamless and professional. The team was punctual, courteous, and incredibly skilled they tackled everything on my list. What stood out most was their attention to detail and commitment to doing the job right the first time. They kept the workspace clean, communicated clearly throughout the project, and finished everything ahead of schedule. It’s rare to find a company that combines quality work with excellent customer service, but this company delivered on both fronts. I’ll definitely be using them again for future projects and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy, talented team!

Siding replacement

Great team - kind, very helpful, and went above and beyond to accomplish difficult and seemingly impossible tasks. Will and team did a wonderful job replacing the siding on my home! It turned out so beautifully. I hope to hire them for more renovations, painting, construction, and repairs in the future. Would recommend planning a schedule together to make sure the timeline stays on track if you have a tight schedule. They are pretty busy and have many jobs going on at the same time, so as long as you can be patient and work with them on your timeline, it will definitely pay off and you will see great results!

Remodeling & construction

Will and his crew are hands-down the most professional group of people I have ever done business with. I always thought going through remodeling and construction work was never fun until I found Jeshua’s handyman services! Will is a true example of going above and beyond, period! He didn’t stop until the job was done. Working with him, and his crew was more of a blessing than anything and for that reason alone I recommend his services to anyone who is looking for any of the services that he offers. He may not be able to get to the phone when you call him and text him right away, but he will definitely get back with you and I promise the wait is worth it and a whole lot more! Thank you again Will to you and to your crew for such an amazing work in such a short period of time We gave you!🙏

Drywall patch & paint, 30 ft ceiling

Great work. Will and his team came in prepared. Place drop cloths down and patched any location that was needed. They were working with a 30 ft ceiling as well. Thanks again!

FAQ

Questions Brevard homeowners ask us

Permits, Florida weather, stucco, HOAs and cost. Straight answers before you call.

Still have a question?

Call or text Will. Estimates are free.

(321) 549-9430
How much does a home renovation cost in Palm Bay?

It depends on the size of the job, the materials, and what we find once walls or siding are opened up (rotted wood is common in Brevard). A single room repaint and a full siding replacement are very different jobs.

The fastest way to a real number is a free on-site estimate. Call or text (321) 549-9430 and we'll come look at it.

Do you offer free estimates?

Yes. Estimates are free for homes and businesses anywhere in Brevard County. Call or text (321) 549-9430, or use the estimate form at the top of this page.

Do I need a permit for a renovation in Brevard County?

Often, yes. Structural changes, new or moved walls, siding, window and door replacements, electrical and plumbing usually need a permit. Painting and small cosmetic drywall patches usually don't.

Who issues it depends on where you live: inside Palm Bay city limits it's the City of Palm Bay's building division; in unincorporated areas it's Brevard County's building department; cities like Melbourne and Rockledge run their own. We'll tell you during the estimate whether your project needs one.

Do I need HOA approval for exterior paint or siding?

In many Brevard neighborhoods, yes. HOA communities usually require architectural approval before you change paint colors, siding or stone, and some have an approved color list.

Get approval in writing before work starts. We can match an approved color and give you the details your HOA asks for.

How often should I repaint my house exterior in Florida?

Brevard's strong sun, humidity and salt air are hard on paint, so exteriors here typically need repainting more often than up north: commonly every 5 to 10 years, depending on sun exposure, the surface, and the paint used.

Signs it's time: fading, chalky residue when you rub the wall, peeling, or cracks opening in the stucco.

What is the best time of year to renovate in Brevard County?

Interior work can happen any time of year. For exterior painting, siding and stucco, the drier months from late fall through spring are easiest.

Hurricane season runs June 1 to November 30 and summer brings daily afternoon storms, so summer exterior jobs are scheduled around the weather. Booking early helps either way.

Can you fix cracked stucco?

Yes. Stucco repair is one of our most common jobs. Even hairline cracks let water get behind the wall in Florida rain, so it's best to fix them early.

We patch the crack, match the texture to the rest of the wall, then prime and paint so the repair doesn't show.

What siding holds up best in Florida?

Fiber cement and vinyl are the most common choices on Brevard homes because both resist rot better than wood. Fiber cement also resists termites and holds paint well.

Whatever the siding, what's underneath matters just as much: a proper house wrap, like the one in our siding project photos, keeps moisture out of the walls.

Why is the wood trim on my house rotting?

Humidity, sprinklers and wind-driven rain keep fascia, soffits, door frames and window trim wet. Once paint fails, the wood soaks up water and rots.

We cut out and replace the rotted wood, seal it, and paint it. Painting over rot only hides the problem.

Can you repair drywall after a roof or plumbing leak?

Yes. Once the leak itself is fixed, we cut out the wet or stained drywall, check the area for moisture and mold, then hang new drywall and match the ceiling or wall texture before painting.

How long does a renovation take?

A room repaint or drywall repair can take a few days. Siding, stucco or a full room renovation can take a few weeks.

If you're working against a deadline, like a move-in date, tell us at the estimate. We plan the schedule together up front so it stays on track.

Do you do commercial projects?

Yes. We do drywall and interior painting for restaurants, offices and other businesses, including The Nosh in Cocoa Beach. We can schedule around your business hours.

What areas do you serve?

We're based in Palm Bay and work throughout Brevard County: Melbourne, West Melbourne, Malabar, Viera, Rockledge, Cocoa, Cocoa Beach, Satellite Beach, Indialantic, Merritt Island, Titusville and nearby.
